Ireceived the gift of faith in Christ when I was twenty-eight years old, and I have now been a Christian for more than half of my life. For all these years I have been slowly putting off my old self, and through God’s work and grace I have been growing in my awareness of His almighty power, wisdom, and love—love by which He reconciled us to Himself through Christ’s death on the cross.
I believe that the entire Holy Scripture is inspired by God and given to us for our growth and guidance. I believe that I am able to love because God first loved us, and I want to learn more and more about God’s love in my relationships with the people around me. My prayer for everyone is that, through the knowledge of God’s Word, we may increasingly discover God and, in doing so, also discover ourselves.
